Wilden 1/2" Pump Models

For applications that require gentle product handling, energy efficiency, ease of cleaning, and operational reliability. Wilden ½” air diaphragm pumps can provide the solution your product deserves. Certain applications require that a pump be run dry without the risk of damage to the pump or application. AODD Wilden pump models also provide easy liquid flow rate adjustments through simple airflow changes.

Due to reciprocating elastomeric diaphragms and check valves that are used within the AODD to pump fluid, oil and mining companies regularly utilize Wilden ½” air diaphragm pumps. The AODD Wilden pump design allows for a smooth transfer of viscous fluids and slurries, like oil, petroleum, and minerals. Unlike centrifugal pumps, Pumping Solutions’ Wilden ½” pump models can provide clean movement without the fear of clogs or product contamination.

How Does a Wilden ½” Air Diaphragm Pump Operate?

The Wilden ½” air diaphragm pump is a positive displacement pump that uses a combination of reciprocating action and either a flapper valve or a ball valve to transfer liquids. This pump is sometimes referred to as a membrane pump. Our Wilden air diaphragm pumps are self-priming and are ideal for viscous liquids.

Our Wilden pumps use reciprocating elastomeric diaphragms and check valves to pump fluid. The liquid chambers are filled and emptied by fluid that is drawn through a common inlet and discharged through a single outlet. These pump models have ½” diaphragms for increased fluid movement.

Wilden ½” Air Diaphragm Pump Applications
